Top Reasons to Use a VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Top Reasons to Use a VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Buy VPN

Here are 5 of the top reasons we recommend that you use a VPN (Virtual Private Network).

  1. Protects your identity with anonymous browsing
  2. Changes IP address
  3. Protects you when on public Wi-Fi
  4. Download/Upload files privately
  5. Keep your Google (and other searches) private

Use a VPN for a more secure connection. If you read all of our posts from October's National Cyber Security Awareness Month you'll see how very important it is to protect our digital lives.

70 million Americans report stolen data, see this Consumer Reports article.

What about this data breach of 100 million people?

After reading the articles above you'll want to learn about more ways to stay safe online. Do you have any additional tips? Leave us a comment!

We use and recommend the virtual private network, Private Internet Access. Here are the features they offer.

Private Internet Access VPN Features

I recently signed up for a year at $39.95. Don't you think that is quite the deal to help protect you while you're on the web? My husband and I just had a mini staycation in the city and it felt good to know we were protected on mobile and our laptops.

I’ve been looking into this for some time. But I am a little concerned about the $80 one time subscription VPN’s because I don’t know how reliable they are or if the company will go under.

Do you have any experience with these?

Hi Mike, Private Internet Access is the only VPN company I have used and have not had any issues.

I would not recommend Tunnel Bear. The wait time to connect to any country on this list is several minutes. They offer TB for free, and it seems the wait time is the same. I have contacted Tech Support a couple of times recently and have yet to hear from them. So the support for their product is poor.
