Meet the WP Security Lock Team at WordCamp Maine and Alabama

August 15, 2014 By Angie Newton Leave a Comment

WordPress Security TeamHave you ever heard of WordCamp?

It's a conference/workshop that focuses on everything WordPress. They are informal, community organized events for anyone who uses WordPress, from the beginner to advanced user.

We have two of our WP Security Lock team members attending two different WordCamp WordPress workshops this weekend. Hopefully you'll connect with one of them!

WordCamp Maine

If you are near Portland, Maine, head on over to WordCamp Maine at the Maine College of Art.  It's held today and tomorrow (August 15-16, 2014). You can meet Chris Wiegman, the brains behind the iThemes Security plugin.

Check out the WordCamp Maine schedule and stop to introduce yourself to Chris.

WordCamp Birmingham

If you are in or around Birmingham, Alabama, WordCamp Birmingham will be at the Harbert Center tomorrow August 16, 2014.  Meet our team member Michele Butcher there.

Michele is teaching a session called Security Isn't Scary and it is Not Rocket Science Either.  Be sure you get in on that session if at all possible (here are her session slides).

Both Chris and Michele have a coupon for $50 OFF any service (new customers only) so hit them up for that. We hope to see you at a WordCamp near you!
