Are Plugins Causing Havoc On Your Site?
They're absolutely necessary for most WordPress installations, and handy as heck, too, but as David Perdew learned the hard way, one wrong plugin can bring your entire site down. The WP Security Lock Plugin Audit will help keep your site working, so you don't suffer the downtime David did.
Regina Smola saved my a$$!
When my servers were hacked because of some basic mistakes I'd made and because I relied on a “security expert” who wasn't really one, I found Regina.
And she's the real deal. I went through a nightmare with my online servers. Regina was with me every step of the way treating my business as if it were her business and educating me at the same time.
I was so blown away, that invited her to come to the next NAMS workshop to caution the advanced group on how to protect their business from the 1000s of malicious hackers out there. She's my rock.
Regina is my best-kept secret.

Have your WordPress plugins checked for security by WP Security Lock. We'll…
- Secure the server permissions for all your plugins – Some plugin developers unknowingly (or even on purpose!) leave your server open for attack, and unless you close these doors, hackers can gain access.
- Follow-up on the paid plugins you use – Most plugin developers are conscientious and keep their plugins up-to-date, but if they stop supporting their scripts, you need to find out why.
- Upgrade all plugins to current stable version – If you procrastinate about this, you may be leaving your site open to hackers. We'll update your plugins, and where appropriate, deactivate and inform you of plugins that are no longer safe to use.
- Clean up the leftovers of uninstalled plugins in your database – Database calls can be tricky things, and if an unused plugin is using the same field names or table structure as a current plugin, you may find yourself facing the dreaded WordPress “White Screen of Death” or conflicts that can break your other plugins.
- Review your plugins for security risks – Just because you downloaded a well-written, secure plugin last month doesn't mean it's still safe to use. You must review your plugins frequently to avoid falling victim to attack.
- Provide a complete report detailing the steps we took and the current state of your plugins, so you can make an informed decision about keeping potentially dangerous plugins on your site.
Plus, we'll go even further to help ensure the continued good health of your WordPress site:
- Free Malware scan of your entire site to track down any malicious code that may be lurking there.
- TimThumb scan to determine if your site is vulnerable to this common threat. Surprisingly, nearly all modern themes use this potentially hazardous script. If kept up-to-date, it's harmless – but not all developers bother to update their themes. We'll track it down and secure it if it exists on your site.
